who am i?

well my name's Joel and i'm a third year software engineering student at the University of Auckland.

i made this website.

why?

making stuff is fun! so i thought i'd try making a website from scratch to learn how it all works. also i could use it to show off some stuff that i've done.

what's on it?

it's split into three areas: about me (this section), a collection of poems that i wrote, and somewhere to put the software related projects that i'm working on.
